A \u201cProgram for Used car Certified by APDCA\u201d kinda translated into english. This refers to a quality certification program that is assigned to a used car that is on sale. It is exclusive to APDCA associates and started in 2021. A member, car dealership, can join this program and then apply for a used car quality certificate for its cars that are for sale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This was a particularly challenging project for me. In addition to having a deadline, my time at APDCA was 4 hours\/day, the technology had to be in PHP (instead of C# where we moved more easily) but I was also faced with a lack of human resources… no team, just me. It started its development in 2020, which, being innovative for the association, the management did not yet had well-defined specifications and workflows, also involved third-party companies that will place the certification requests and another ones would carry out the physical inspection of the vehicle. It was necessary not to delay the project and I had to adjust an agile management approach, also for several times I had to refactor code, most times due requirement changes. It was challenging and sometimes the feeling like a captain alone without sailors on sailboat wasn\u2019t very good. But the end result was very rewarding and it has been working flawlessly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project itself can be described as an API service that centralizes certification requests, sends them to an inspection company, waits for the result and evaluates it after receiving the data. It generates then, a final PDF certificate and informs the associate\/dealership plus the third parties where the vehicle is advertised. Thus, the association has a database and history of certified used vehicles from its associated car dealerships, which can be consulted by authorized third parties for many other useful purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
