As I participate on A.F.A.M. member board, a small sports association, the members knew that I work in the IT area and so I was asked to help them create a simple platform customized to the association structure to do membership management; like registering new members, store information on internships, exams, graduations, documents etc… As they didn’t intend to have this management online, but rather locally on a computer (or local network), I choose to use Filemaker Pro as a development platform once again, since didn’t had much time to spend…
It ended up being an APP without unnecessary features. Some of them added later as they were requested. Taking care that the forms fitted on small screens (screens used in the association’s equipment like 1280×768) in order to avoid scrolls. Despite being developed entirely on a macOS, it is working in the windows version same way.
