Yet another small tool, just because…
Actually, because I don’t like to see colleagues suffering when we can optimize a process.
Spending some hours to save many more throughout the year. So I have an administrative colleague that regularly sends letters to members, they are sent by registered post with acknowledgment of receipt. This involves manually filling in two paper forms and entering two addresses on each of them. These addresses are the association itself and the member that we have in our database.
So, no big deal, I created an application where we only need to call from our API service the member number, email or TAX number, and put the paper forms on the printer. The paper forms were custom adjusted into the settings on a the app for the printer model we use.
Now yes… sent by registered post with acknowledgment of receipt, it’s like drinking a glass of fresh water in the summer!
